In the day to day of living, it is easy to become disoriented and forget what is truly important. We live in the moment in our earthly world, and our focus drifts to what we are trying to do: everyday tasks and activities. Yet what we need to focus on is being in God’s will. God’s people are blessed when their efforts are focused on Him.
God calls us. We serve. We build and plant. We have faith as a mustard seed and watch it become a mighty mustard tree as God rewards our faith. In the book of Isaiah, chapter 65, we read about judgment and salvation. Verses 22 through 24 tell us:
Isaiah 65:22 – 24 (NKJV)
22 They shall not build and another inhabit;
They shall not plant and another eat;
For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people,
23 They shall not labor in vain,
Nor bring forth children for trouble;
For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord,
And their offspring with them.
24 “It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer;
And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
God knows what we need and shall accomplish for Him, even when the way is unclear to us. There is but one path lit for our feet by God. We must seek that path and stay on it in our lives and our businesses. God has told us the rewards and the harvest for following Him in all that we are and do.
