Peer Groups and Facilitated Sessions

As business owners and leaders, it is easy to get so caught up in the details of working in our business that we don't work ON our business.  It is also common that we limit our interaction with other colleagues and peers going through the same stages and experiences to superficial contacts at networking events. We fail to tap into the fast knowledge and experience of those who have already experienced and survived the business issues and challenges that we face in our own businesses.

Peer Groups that provide more than networking.

Several years ago, F.O.C.U.S. Resources founded the FOCUS Implementation Team program.  These teams are peer groups formed to provide support, education, and learning for their members.  These groups have been formed around specific business issues and based upon the complementary skills and experiences of the participants.

Peer Groups more than book clubs and dinner meetings.

FOCUS Implementation Teams are about learning, planning, doing, and evaluating.  You learn a concept and options.  You plan your implementation and then you implement the plan.  Finally, the results are evaluated.  All along this process your F.I.T. group members are there to provide support, encouragement, ideas, and energy.  They hold you accountable for taking action. The accountability is important, because without it many times other priorities get in the way of making important changes.  Another aspect that is important is that these team members aren't part of your organization! They are peers who have been there and done that, are currently going through the same process, or know they will be in the future.  Also, because these team members are not part of your organization, they are objective, independent, and don't have "risk" associated with the changes and actions.

F.I.T.™ Programs are for YOU, the client.  They have been developed to minimize the disruption to running your business and maximizing the time to work ON the business.

F.I.T.™ Programs  provide more information AND guidance on applying it to your business via teleconferencing.  You have the opportunity to bounce ideas and share experiences with others working on their own businesses and doing the same tasks.
